BOSTON – “Something To Wrestle” shipping up to Boston Sunday, and that’s not a rib.
Former WWE executive Bruce Prichard has been in the professional wrestling industry for decades, but has found new life as a podcaster over the course of the past year and a half. He and Conrad Thompson co-host “Something To Wrestle with Bruce Prichard” via the MLW Radio Network, and the podcast has quickly become of the most listened-to sports programs in the world.
“It’s been surreal,” Prichard said. “It’s been a fast ride. It’s been a fun ride. And we hope to ride it for even longer.”
In coordination with the podcast, the duo often brings the show on the road for special live, non-broadcast editions of the show. There, they have a chance to interact with their legions of fans, share stories about the city they are in, and bring along special guest for a night full of laughs and impressions. The two will be bringing the show to the House of Blues in Boston this Sunday, where Prichard says you never know what will happen.
“It’s evolved. We do a lot more interactive [sic] with the audience. We take audience participation questions, and we get them involved and let them kind of dictate the direction of the show as we move along,” he said.
Limited tickets are still available for the event here. V.I.P. doors are at noon, and the show begins at 2 p.m.
