ORONO – Some want baby steps. Others want a giant leap. But either way, it’s hard not to acknowledge Maine men’s hockey made progress this past season.
But now their road to relevance has been paved for 2018 – 2019.
The team released its schedule for next season kicking off officially at home Oct. 12 with a series against St. Lawrence at Alfond Arena.
The Black Bears will get their first taste of Hockey East action Oct. 26 with a two game trip down to Storrs against UConn.
A vicious stretch of Boston College, UMass and Boston University ends the regular season ahead of the Hockey East playoffs with Maine closing at home.
