ELLSWORTH – A Husson University basketball player and a Thomas College basketball player were among 22 people issued police summons this past weekend after a party was busted for underage drinking.
Twenty-year-old Alexander Braley, a former Ellsworth High School athlete, was arrested and charged with furnishing a place for minors to consume or possess liquor. He was also given a summons for illegal possession or consumption of liquor by a minor. He will be in court at the Ellsworth District Court Aug. 21.
Husson men’s basketball center Bruce St. Peter, 20, and Thomas College guard Bryce Harmon, 19, were issued summons along with 20 other attendees 20 years old and younger for illegal possession or consumption of liquor by a minor. Three of those given summons were under 18. The entire list of those issued a summons can be seen on the Ellsworth American, which first reported the news.
St. Peter averaged 4.4 points per game for the Eagles this past year, playing in 26 games. Harmon played in 16 games during his first season at Thomas/
