ORONO – Maine football has made it a point to hire from within over the years – this year has been no different. New head coach nick charlton has announced his first hire – as wide receivers coach andrew dresner has been promoted to offensive coordinator.
In his first year in Orono Dresner helped produce two All-CAA selections in Earnest Edwards and Micah Wright.
Dresner spent 2017 as the offensive coordinator at Pace Univiersity and spent the previous four years at Merrimack College. Dresner is excited to do just that and help the offense grow to new heights.
“You know I really think getting back into the run game and being you know really impactful in that part of the game is going to be something that I want to make sure I do and that’s something that Nick started to do last year and you know just want to continue that,” Dresner said.
