BANGOR/BREWER – The Bangor boys maintained their place atop Class AA North, while the girls sit third.
The boys matchup featured an early stretch of offense by the Rams, giving them a fifteen point lead by the end of the first quarter.
They would extend that lead to nineteen by halftime, behind Matt Fleming and Isaac Cummings, and eventually win by 40 points, 85-45.
Brad Libby’s team moves to 14-1 and faces Skowhegan on Friday.
Across the river, the girls matchup got off a slow start with both teams scoring a combined 7 points in the first quarter.
Both teams had trouble find the bottom of the net in the first half, but greatly improved in the second half with the Rams coming out on top 35-27 for their tenth win of the season.
