ATLANTA – It was a rough Super Bowl LIII for the Rams. LA got nothing going on offense and Sean McVey admitted that he was out-coached by Bill Belichick, join the club.
Former Maine Black Bear Jamil Demby watched as his team fell to New England. Aside from the result, it was a dream come true.
The trip to the Super Bowl meant more than just football to Demby. Constantly overlooked until his senior year of college, Demby embodied hard work and perseverance during his time at Maine. That mindset hasn’t changed since he made the jump to the NFL.
“It matters what you do as a person and you know the goals that you see in life and the perseverance that you have and I just want everyone back in Orono and back in Vineland to understand that. You know it’s all about you and how you perceive the world and how you want to continue being the person you want to be,” Demby said.
