BANGOR – Despite several leagues and organizations cancelling or postponing sporting events this weekend’s Bangor Snocross event at Bass Park is set to move on as planned.
Eastern Snocross Tour owner, Bruce Gaspardi, is thrilled the event is moving forward and says fans can expect the racing to get faster as the day goes on. The entertainment doesn’t end there as Larry Enticer, a Canadian stunt man, is set to do some laps and add some flavor to the event.
“The Canadian Tuxedo they call it you know always had this haircut its nice you know business in the front party in the back but yea the glasses kind of suit it all and expect a good time that’s what i’ll say,” Enticer said.
The Good Shepherd Food Bank will also be holding a fundraiser. For every non-perishable food item brought in fans have a shot to win a Larry Enticer sled.
They act as raffle tickets, two cans of string beans, two raffle tickets.
Racing runs from 3:30-8:30 p.m Saturday and 10 a.m.-3:30 pm on Sunday.
