PORTLAND – There’s something about Hadlock Field that screams baseball, the intimate crowd in the shadow of the “Maine Monster,” Slugger patrolling the top of dugouts in between innings, we haven’t had any of that this summer.
But the Sea Dogs are thinking a little outside the box.
Portland will be transforming Hadlock Field to “Hadlinks Field,” a nine hole target style golf course.
Tee boxes will be from the skybox level with the longest hole being 160 yards, so leave those drivers at home.
Golfers will get two shots per hole, greens fees are $30 and tee times can be made online.
Fans can play from July 9-12. For more information you can visit the Portland Sea Dogs’ website.
