SANFORD – Sanford senior and UMaine commit Leyton Bickford set the bar for Maine basketball players’ home workouts on Friday.
Bickford live streamed himself on YouTube form shooting in his driveway for ten hours on Friday. He said Saturday that he was looking to show the type of competitor he is by challenging himself. He added he has had to get creative to maintain home workouts while training facilities are closed due to COVID-19.
The soon to be Sanford graduate said he hopes this shows the type of player the black bears can expect..
“I wanted to get my shot to where I’m not thinking about it in games and then I also wanted to show people that I’m competitive enough to do whatever it takes to win,” said Bickford.
