ORONO – Maine men’s hockey goaltender, Jeremy Swayman, has been named a Top 5 finalist for the Mike Richter Award, given to the nation’s top goaltender.
Swayman finished the season first in the NCAA with 1,099 saves and lead Maine to the No. 4 seed in Hockey East.
The Alaska native signed a pro contract with the Boston Bruins after COVID-19 canceled the Hockey East playoffs.
The winner of the award will be announced on April 10.
