FARMINGDALE – We’re starting to see leagues and teams making a comeback after months of nothing due to COVID-19.
For Farmingdale native, Quinn Stebbins, he was looking for a summer baseball league to play in this year and ended up traveling all the way out to Missouri to find one.
The now Thomas College pitcher was hoping to begin his second season of summer baseball working in the Cape Cod League and then the pandemic hit.
An opportunity to play in Ozark, Missouri arose and he latched on to play in the ‘Show Me’ collegiate league, one of the few leagues still playing.
“Until like late April I was confident it was going to go and it ended up getting cancelled and I was lucky enough to get an option to play out here and I ran with it,” Stebbins said.
