BANGOR – The Eastern Maine Medical Center Auxiliary is getting ready for the annual kitchen tours.
Whether you’re building a new home or just want to update your current home, the tours provide a great opportunity to find inspiration.
This years tour will include a look at seven different kitchens in Bangor where people can see some of the latest designs.
Local businesses will also be on hand to showcase some of their products.
Organizer Jan Currier said “We have ten vendors this year and that includes food, drink, special products that are Maine made. There will be samples given out and demonstrations. Those people have added a nice dimension to it. So it helps Maine businesses as well as enhance the kitchen tour.”
This years kitchen tours will take place on Saturday, September 23rd from noon until 4:00p.m.
Tickets are $25 dollars in advance and $30 dollars the day of the tours.
All the money raised will help pay for the new neonatal intensive care unit at eEMMC.
You can purchase tickets by visiting emmcauxiliary.org or you can visit a number of places where they’re being sold including at Rebeccas in Downtown Bangor, the EMMC gift shop or from any auxiliary member.
