AUGUSTA – Maine Fishing and Wildlife Managers will hold public hearings this week on proposed changes to the state’s fishing regulations.
Officials say the state is proposing more than 150 regulation changes for the 2016 open water and ice fishing season.
Five hearing’s will get underway, starting today in Presque Isle, Wednesday in Millinocket, and Thursday in Ellsworth. The final two will be held in Farmington and Brunswick next week.
Any resident unable to attend can send in written comments by August 3rd.
