BANGOR – 153 runners hit the pavement for Bangor’s 53rd Annual Labor Day Road Race.
Folks lined up early for the popular five-mile race put on by the Bangor Parks and Recreation Department.
Despite the heat and humidity, runners turned out in droves as they do every year,
“I think its because its one of the hardest races out there. Its five miles, but there are a lot of hills and a little bit of trail. It’s just a great race.” Debbie Gendreau, Asst. Dir. Bangor Parks and Rec
29 year old Adam Goode of Bangor won the race this year. He ran the 5 miles in 25 minutes and 29 seconds. Congratulations to him.
