BANGOR – A Monson man is heading to jail for six months after pleading guilty to several charges of domestic violence.
36-year-old Jared Clawson pleaded guilty today to two felony charges of domestic violence threatening with a dangerous weapon and one felony count of domestic terrorizing with a dangerous weapon.
He also pleaded to guilty to several misdemeanor counts of domestic assault. He was arrested last December for assaulting his wife in Corinth.
During the investigation detectives learned of several more assaults that had occurred during the six months prior to that arrest.
Clawson was sentenced to four years in prison with all but six months suspended.
He will serve a total of four years of probation following his release.
