“He immediately accelerated at a very fast rate. I proceeded behind him reaching a speed of 105 miles per hour at top speed with my siren going.” Sgt. Eugene Fizell, Holden Police Department
As state and local police joined the chase, the rider decided to pull over and was quickly arrested. He has been identified as 23 year old Tanner Edgecomb of Dedham. He’s now charged with failure to stop for an officer and criminal speeding.
“He claims he didn’t see me and hear my siren because the music was too loud in his ears. And he did have a small Rearview mirror which is required, but it apparently wasn’t working with all my lights and sirens going at probably very close short distance behind me. He should’ve heard me.” Sgt. Eugene Fizell, Holden Police Department
