BANGOR – With Halloween fast approaching it’s dentists offering some advice.
Children everywhere will be eating candy and getting their annual sugar rush. It’s recommended you give your child a nice, hearty meal before trick or treating so they’ll be less likely to gorge on sweets.
But kids will inevitably eat a lot of sugary sweets, so how do you keep your kids healthy and out of the dentist chair from those dreaded cavities?

Some other tips include giving them a large glass of water to wash down some of the sugars. You can also put their candy in a “candy bank” to control how much candy your kids can have.
