KENNEBUNK – A scary crash along the Maine Turnpike today.
Fortunately, no one was injured when a tractor trailer truck flipped onto its side in one of the Kennebunk service plazas.
State Police say it appears 67 year old Paul Comeau of Leeds fell asleep at the wheel around 7:30 this morning.
His rig ended up striking a sign and two light posts before rolling onto its side.
The truck then slid about 100 feet before colliding with a Jeep that was being towed by an rv.
Comeau was hauling a load of crushed glass which spilled into the parking lot when the trailer burst open.
He’s expected to face charges as the investigation into the crash continues.
