BANGOR – Senator Angus King will be in the Bangor area today, touring the National Guard Air Re-fueling Wing.
King serves on the Senate Armed Services Committee, working to help secure over seven-million-dollars to fund the National Defense Authorization Act. The act passed the Senate on Monday.
That means the Maine Air National Guard is a step closer to receiving federal funding to upgrade and expand the facility. King is expected to tour around 11 this morning.
