BANGOR – Bangor police served up barbecue yesterday raising money for The Wounded Warrior Project.
Officers and criminal justice students at Eastern Maine Community College teaming up for The Wounded Warrior Project. They were on hand at Moe’s Barbecue all day, serving food and busing tables.
Officer Shannon Davis says she doesn’t mind the work, especially when you consider the cause. “It’s kind of a community effort between us and the criminal justice students over at EMCC coming together for a good cause.”
Members of the police department were on the clock throughout the day. Donations will go to help wounded warriors.
