AUGUSTA – State police said some boys caused several thousand dollars worth of damage last weekend.
Windows were smashed in three houses, several mailboxes and a car were also damaged. Most of it was caused by large items, such as cement blocks being thrown through windows early Sunday morning. Police say the spree was fueled by alcohol and marijuana and because they didn’t like one of the victims taste in rap music.
Nathaniel Thibeau of Randolph and Spencer King of Gardiner are both 18 and are both charged with aggravated criminal mischief. Three 17 year olds are also facing the same charges.
Police also charged 21 year old Patrick Simmons with furnishing alcohol to minors.
