STATEWIDE – Camden National Banks throughout Maine collected items for their ‘Hope-at-Home’ kits during the month of February.
All 64 locations participated and together delivered 2,000 kits to 50 area shelters, over 200 kits alone to the Bangor area. Items in the hope kits include socks, winter hats, toothbrushes, and non-perishable high-energy foods.
As a part of the program, Camden National Bank also donates 100 dollars to homeless shelters for every new home that it finances.
In 2015, the bank raised over 44,000 dollars for Maine’s homeless shelters.
