WEST ENFIELD – Maine State Police and Penobscot County Sheriff’s are looking for a male suspect who robbed the Penobscot County Credit Union in West Enfield Monday morning.
Authorities were notified about the incident around 8:15 a.m.
Detective sergeant, Andrew Whitehouse, with the Penobscot County Sheriff’s office, says the suspect was alone when he walked into the bank, had interaction with the teller, and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a white male that’s about 5’7 and weighs nearly 200 pounds.
Officials say he has dark hair, wearing a navy blue hoodie, blue jeans and gray sneakers.
Detectives with the Maine State Police, The Penobscot Sheriff’s Office, and the FBI is investigating the incident.
