MILFORD – The Dr. Lewis S. Libby School is one of ten schools to compete in this years Maine Waterfowl Art Contest.
It’s held each year by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in order to teach students about wetlands and waterfowl conservation.
Of the 468 pieces entered in the competition, Noel Stormann won the best of show prize. She will now go on to the national competition.
12 students at the Dr. Lewis S. Libby School placed in the competition.
The national contest will take place next month.
