BANGOR – 15 years of celebrating culture in Bangor “The American Folk Festival” is expected to bring the best back again this summer.
17 to 18 new groups will take the stage along the Bangor Waterfront this summer on August 26th, 27th, 28th.
The three day festival started in 2002 and has grown ever since and has attracted hundreds of artists from all over the world with more than a million visitors.
This year, you can expect to see just about everything you’d hope to including one many are excited about American Jazz!
The festival remains free of an admission price, but they need volunteers and a suggested donations of $10-dollars per person, per day.
We’re told “Color Bangor” is scheduled to happen again this year. The fun 5-k run/walk will take place Saturday May 14th.
