AUGUSTA – A New York City man has been charged with aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs, and criminal forfeiture of property.
23-year-old Barrington Walker was arrested Thursday night in Augusta after police spotted Walker driving erratically around 8 o’clock on Commercial Street. Before officers could perform a vehicle stop Walker’s car struck a parked car.
With assistance from the Maine State Police and K-9, 50 grams of heroin and 20 grams of crack cocaine were located and seized along with cash suspected of being proceeds of illegal drug sales. Walker was also charged with operating a vehicle without a license and transferred to the Kennebec County Jail. Bail has been set at $25,000 cash.
