STATEWIDE – Heavy winds through the weekend and Monday morning caused downed lines, fallen trees and many power outages.
According to Emera Maine, over 3,000 people lost power over the weekend and at last check over 800 customers are still affected in Penobscot and Hancock counties.
Emera crews have been worked over the weekend and into Monday to get things back up and running.
The Bangor Fire Department reminded everyone to steer clear of power lines.
