LINCOLN– Northern Penobscot Tech Region 3 is sending their competitive cooking team to Portland!
ProStart is a high school curriculum for culinary artists that allows them to create a competitive culinary team.
After winning states, the team now has the chance to compete in the New England Regionals on April 9th. Five students will be cooking against schools from Massachusetts, Vermont, and New Hampshire.
The team will have one hour to cook a three course meal consisting of Maine lobster cake, beef tenderloin, and a Carrabasset Valley Bavarian cream mousse.
