WINSLOW – Winslow police have found the person responsible for a bomb threat which closed down the high school temporarily.
They said it was 18-year-old Brandon Ward, the same person who reported the threat on Friday.
The high school evacuated after Ward told officials about a threat written on the wall of the boys bathroom.
Police came to the conclusion after looking at surveillance footage and conducted interviews over the weekend.
Ward was arrested Monday and charged with terrorizing a felony in Maine. He’s expected to be arraigned on June 27.
