AUGUSTA – Several people are facing drug charges following a bust in Maine’s capital city.
Augusta Police and Maine Drug Enforcement Agents raided a home on Crosby Street Place around 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
They seized 62 grams of crack cocaine, 62 grams of heroin, oxycontin pills and $2,500 in suspected drug proceeds.
As a result of the raid, police arrested 5 people and pressed charges ranging from aggravated trafficking in heroin and cocaine to unlawful possession of drugs.
They include Todd Collins, Corey Vannah and Christine Thayer of Augusta.
Mario Gordon of New York City and April Meserve of Waterville were also arrested.
