TURNER – Maine State Fire Marshal’s Office suspect a heater malfunction caused the death of a man in Turner.
52-year-old Craig Gordon’s body was found Thursday morning in a camper-trailer parked beside a home on Turkey Lane. His body was found by his father around 7 a.m.
Officials said kerosene heaters were being used to warm the unit. Investigators believe one of the heater’s caused thick smoke and soot to fill the camper.
Gordon’s body was taken to the Maine State Medical Examiner’s Office in hopes of determining a cause of death.
