BELFAST-The arrival of the new year brings great news for people in Belfast where a local landmark has a new owner.
The Crosby School is now owned by Kiril Lozanov, an engineer who owns solar energy company “Capital City Renewals”.
The school was built in 1923 and was used to educate generations of youngsters until closing in 1993.
It has had several uses since then, but has mostly been quiet in recent years.
Lozanov now has a dream of renovating the space and using it for cooperative home and business rentals.
He also wants to bring a restaurant to the building and use it as a place for theatrical and musical performances.
The work will take place in phases over the next several years.
