BANGOR – The third annual Dysarts International Sno Cross event is just a little over two weeks away.
The two day high flying snowmobile competition will be the season opener for Bass Park this January. it’s the biggest fund raiser of the year for Eastern Maine Community College. All proceeds go to student scholarships. Last year they raised $66,000.
EMCC Director of Advancement Jennifer Khavari said “We have been stock piling snow for a couple weeks now. Our friends at Lane Construction do an amazing job with an inch of snow making it look like we have 5 foot files. We’ll have plenty of snow this year for some high flying action at Bass Park.”
Races start at 9 a.m. January 28th and go until dusk both days.
A day pass is $12 while a weekend pass is $20. Children under 7 get in for free.
