BANGOR – The Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce is welcomed a new member to Downtown Bangor.
“Covort Coworking Space” is adding a new option on Main Street.
Co-founders Lisa Liberatore and Jason Harkins came up with the idea for a space for nomad business people that don’t have offices or stores. After working out of many coffee shops themselves, they felt that a shared space was needed.
Liberatore said “We were working with entrepreneurs that were facing the same issues and decided there’s a pent up need for a place for people to come to work in a professional environment and not be saddled with a year long lease.”
The space includes amenities such as wifi, docking stations, a kitchen and a 3-D printer.
The space can be rented by the day, week or month and membership includes monthly meetings.
