BANGOR – Yesterday’s storm led to numerous cancellations at Bangor International Airport.
Airport director Tony Caruso said it’s not often that the runways have to be shut down completely to be cleaned.
Even though flights were canceled, passengers still had to get to their destinations, but when, was the question they were all asking.
One passenger, hairdresser, Renee Salyre stated “They were supposed to re-book supposedly and I waited for a bit and then called because they weren’t re-booking me right away. Initially was supposed to leave tomorrow.”
Although she did have to cancel her own clients today, Renee was able to get a flight and not cancel any for tomorrow.
