HOULTON -Maine State Police are looking for the people who stole an expensive piece of equipment from Emera Maine.
A trooper was called to a job site on the Station Road in Littleton Wednesday where utility crews had been doing some work.
Employees discovered someone had stolen a Polaris Ranger side by side utility vehicle.
The trooper followed the tracks in the snow and found the machine a short distance away on the Skanks Road.
The ranger’s camoplast tracks had been removed and stolen and now police are trying to find those responsible. They believe the theft occurred sometime between 3:00 p.m. Wednesday and 9:30 a.m. Thursday.
