BANGOR- Students looking to attend law school may be able to do it a little sooner.
A new agreement between Husson University and University of Maine will allow students to complete both an undergraduate degree and a law degree in six years total.
Students would attend classes on Husson’s campus for three years before heading down to the UMaine law campus in Portland.
The first year of classes there would satisfy the credits needed for an undergraduate degree at Husson.
Professors from both schools agree that this offer is a win-win– increasing school enrollment and producing quality lawyers in our state.
