BANGOR- A woman appeared in court Monday after allegedly robbing the Bangor Walmart last week.
21 year old Michaela Sargent pleaded not guilty to both counts of robbery and drug possession.
Her attorney argued that Sargent was forced to rob the store, and pushed for personal recognizance bail.
“As far as the class b robbery, the court can’t give someone personal recognizance bail or unsecured bond on a class b felony where she threatened that she had a gun,” said the judge.
She was appointed a lawyer and is being held on $10,000 bail.
She is due to appear in court again in May.
