BANGOR – Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Bangor celebrated a new addition.
They have cut the ribbon on their newly remodeled cafeteria.
The hospital said the new cafeteria will offer more amenities, including a bigger salad bar, place to plug in computers and improved seating.
C.E.O. Mary Prybylow stated “Food is comfort and very often families are here visiting patients who are maybe dealing with difficult things. It’s nice to come down and get some comfort food, sit in a place that’s bright , that has light where you can re-energize and go back and do what you have to do.”
The project has been two years in the making.
Donations from the staff and the community helped to pay for the renovations.
