BANGOR – The Bangor City Council is preparing to discuss marijuana sales, an issue that’s been ongoing since election day last November.
Monday the council will meet to brainstorm regulation and distribution within the city and the public will also have a chance to voice its thoughts.
This past November marijuana became legal state-wide.
Now people 21 and older can legally posses two-point-five ounces of marijuana, but there has been a ban on facilities looking to provide a place to use the drug since November 8th.
The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. Monday and will be streamed on the local access channel and online.
