WALES – A man from Wales was arrested once again this morning after police caught him doing something very dangerous.
Nicholas Gagne, 36, was arrested in January after authorities caught him stealing power from a Central Maine transformer atop a utility pole.
A Maine State Police Trooper received a tip that Gagne was back at it and went to check it out.
The trooper said he watched as Gagne climbed the pole, possibly to disconnect the wires he had placed there.
Gagne fled into an outbuilding when he realized he was spotted, but he eventually came out and was charged with theft, criminal mischief and violating his bail conditions.
