AUGUSTA – The governor’s energy office released its weekly heating survey.
The statewide average for number 2 heating oil was $2.17 per gallon, a decline of nine cents from March.
Kerosene went down seven cents over the same period to $2.72 per gallon.
The largest decrease was propane which dropped 12 cents to $2.43 per gallon.
Heating fuel was at an average of $2.17 per gallon statewide the lowest in six years.
