WATERVILLE (WGME) – Students at Colby College will get the chance to study abroad thanks to a $25 million grant.
The gift is from the Davis Family Foundation it guarantees every student the chance to travel to other countries for internships, work experience and more.
The program “Davis Connects” launched Thursday. Students take part in the program during the month of January.
Dan Lugo, V.P. for College and Student Advancement stated “Our students have a world class education and they should be at the forefront of government, multi-national corporations. People that are going to steer the course of our future, and it gives me great faith to work in a community that is trying to launch those types of people.”
The “Davis Connects” program will be housed in Grossman Hall on the Colby Campus and will open in the fall.
