STONINGTON – The Town of Stonington is moving forward on the Hagen Dock construction project.
They said they’re hoping it will boost attraction at the waterfront, where visitors can enjoy the view of the Stonecutter statue. They said it’ll also provide the public with extra parking.
Crews from John Goodwin construction extended the granite, where they hope to create a walkway.
The project is expected to cost close to $1 million dollars, but the town is looking towards reducing those costs through grants its received. Town manager Kathleen Billings said they’re still planning to complete this phase of the project by early next month.
