BREWER – A construction accident in Brewer late Monday afternoon sent two people to the hospital.
Brewer Fire Department Capt. Robbie Wilde said they were called to the accident site shortly before 4 p.m. Monday.
He said the accident happened at the site where a construction company was working near the eastbound exit ramp on I-395.
He said the people involved with the accident were working on the project to extend Interstate 395 to connect with U.S. Route 9.
Wilde said the two people were taken to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center for treatment for their injuries.
State police said OSHA will be investigating.
