BANGOR – A man suspected of killing a man in Bangor is among those indicted Wednesday by a Penobscot County Grand Jury.
Antoinne Bethea, 40, of Connecticut was arrested Sunday after police stopped a vehicle in Ohio. He’s accused in the shooting death of Terrance Durel outside an Ohio Street home on Easter Sunday.
Bangor Police said Bethea has decided not to resist the effort to extradite him to Maine. Authorities are now making arrangements to return him to face murder charges.
The grand jury also indicted Cindy McVicar of Lincoln for allegedly helping Bethea flee Maine after the alleged crime. She’s charged with hindering apprehension prosecution.
