TRENTON – An early morning crash in Trenton caused a nightmare for morning commuters.
A person driving a box truck crashed into a utility pole on Route 3, snapping it in half and closing the roadway.
No injuries are reported, but the crash caused a major headache for people traveling to and from Mount Desert Island. They had to take a detour around the scene.
Power was also out on the outskirts of Ellsworth as people were trying to make it to school or work. Emera Maine reported 1054 customers were without power earlier this morning.
Line crews were dispatched to the area to repair the pole and get everyone back online.
