BANGOR – It has been a busy week for the Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce.
It was forced to look for a new home after the waterfront location was purchased by Bangor Savings Bank. That search led the chamber to 2 Hammond Street in Bangor, near the heart of the downtown area.
The chamber staff has been moving into the new location and are excited about their new home.
“We invite everybody to just come in and check it out and maybe we’ll give you a box to unpack.” said Chamber President Deb Neuman, “Yeah, go dust that. But we’re settling in nicely and delighted to be downtown.”
The chamber has also hired a new director of membership and sales. Lisa Spaulding will work closely with the chambers 800 member businesses and will also work to promote those businesses.
