BANGOR – The Peony Society of Maine is taking advantage of blooming season for their 16th Annual Garden Tours.
Hard work and dedication is paying off for local gardeners whose gardens are being toured to raise money for The Peony Society of Maine.
“My wife and I put hours and hours into our gardens so we get delight of people coming and saying “oh, how beautiful! How do you get these gardens?” And I say, well it takes 20 years or so of hard work,” said Roger Lycette, the gardener.
If you missed the garden tours today but are still interested in visiting the gardens, the tours will continue Saturday, June 24th.
