BANGOR – The Bangor Chamber of Commerce held their “Early Bird Breakfast” Wednesday morning.
Their guest of honor wass Dana Connors of the Maine Chamber of Commerce.
The state budget and the potential for a shutdown are a major concern for local businesses. Many who went also have concerns about the referendums in the state.
Connors said “Will there be bonds to be presented to the public this November, will they set aside a day to come back and deal with that? That remains to be seen.”
The next breakfast is on September 27th. Governor Paul LePage will be their guest.
